English language
- IELTS Academic — 6 overallUniversity-wide Bachelor's requirement (minimum B2 CEFR level), not a course-specific band — no higher requirement is published for this programme. The same official list also accepts TOEFL iBT at a minimum of 87 points (previous scale) / 4.5 points (new scale), plus roughly a dozen other named B2-level certificates (Cambridge B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency, LanguageCert, PTE Academic 59+, Trinity ISE II, etc.) — see the cited page for the full list. A high-school medium-of-instruction letter alone is NOT accepted; only a bachelor's/master's degree taught 100% in English can substitute for a certificate.

- entrance exam requiredNamed 'entrance exam' on WUT's own admissions page but structured as an online interview, required since a 4 April 2025 change to Polish admissions law as a condition of receiving the final acceptance letter. It does NOT apply to candidates whose secondary-school certificate was issued by an EU, OECD or EFTA member state (the page's own exemption list names Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States), China, or Ukraine, nor to IB/EB diploma holders — so most applicants from major study-abroad source countries are exempt. This is a general certificate-recognition/eligibility interview, not a subject-specific maths or physics entrance test; WUT does not publish a separate subject entrance exam for its English-taught B.Sc. programmes.

Completion of secondary education (High School Leaving Certificate) plus a transcript of records; WUT states it 'usually' requires a GPA of at least 70% and very good grades in Math and Science, though applicants with a lower GPA may still apply with reduced chances of admission. Candidates whose secondary certificate is not from an EU/OECD/EFTA/China/Ukraine system, and who do not hold an IB or EB diploma, must additionally obtain Polish recognition of the certificate (via Kuratorium Oświaty or NAWA) as part of the entrance-exam condition above.
