~US$279,300 for the whole 4 years, at today's fee2026/27 · Same rate across the institution · All students — no separate international rate
Vanderbilt's Cost of Attendance table publishes a single tuition figure for all first-year undergraduates with no residency- or nationality-based breakdown, consistent with the common US-private pattern of one flat rate for all students. Figure is tuition only; separately billed mandatory costs (housing, food, student support fee) bring the total direct cost of attendance to $96,896/year.

Vanderbilt offers need-based scholarships to only a limited number of first-year international undergraduate applicants, on a need-aware admission basis (requesting aid can factor into the admission decision); no need-based aid exists for international transfer applicants. International first-year applicants are eligible for all of Vanderbilt's merit-based scholarships. U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens living abroad instead receive need-blind admission and 100% of demonstrated need met, with no loans.
