TUM's own program page states the non-EU tuition fee directly: 'The tuition fees for international students from third countries for this degree program are 3,000 euros per semester.' This is charged on top of the EUR 97 per-semester student-union contribution every student pays. TUM's central non-EU tuition-fee page confirms the policy — in force for newly enrolling students since the winter semester 2024/25 — prices bachelor's degrees at either EUR 2,000 or EUR 3,000 per semester depending on the programme; Aerospace sits at the higher EUR 3,000 rate. Students from EU/EEA countries and several exempted groups (e.g. Swiss nationals with an independent residence status, UK nationals resident in Germany before Brexit) do not pay it. Neither the program page nor the central fee page attaches an academic-year or dated 'as of' label to this figure, so it is recorded here rather than as a dated structured fee. Entry requirements
English language
- English language certificate (CEFR level B2) or verification via TUM Aptitude Assessment, level B2English proficiency is normally verified as part of TUM's Aptitude Assessment (using the applicant's higher-education entrance qualification, e.g. Abitur) or an aptitude interview, rather than a standalone certificate; a CEFR level B2 English certificate is an accepted alternative. TUM's central language-certificates page separately lists Aerospace among the bachelor's programs where 'English language skills verification is carried out as part of the aptitude assessment. An English language certificate is not required for the application.' Aerospace additionally requires a German language certificate of at least A2 level, since it is not a purely German-exempt program.
