International tuition
€1,500 per term
~€10,500 for the whole 3.5 years, at today's feeSame rate across the institution · Non-EU students
RWU publishes this figure without stating which year it applies to, so it may already be out of date. Treat it as a starting point and check the course page for the current rate. Flag it below if you know it has changed.
RWU's own programme page links out to 'the website of the Finance Department' for the exact figure rather than stating it (only confirming the policy has applied 'since the winter semester 2017/2018'). Found the actual amount on RWU's international-students financing page: the standard Baden-Württemberg state-wide non-EU/EEA fee, same policy already confirmed at other Baden-Württemberg institutions on StudyPath. That page dates only the policy's introduction (2017/2018), not that EUR 1,500 is confirmed current for a specific academic year, so left undated. A separate administration/semester fee (EUR 224 first semester, EUR 215 thereafter) applies to every student regardless of nationality.

In Baden-Württemberg, since winter semester 2017/2018, non-EU international students and students taking up a second degree must pay a tuition fee alongside the standard semester fee. RWU's own page confirms this policy applies to the Mechatronics programme but does not state the specific figure; the state's standard rate at other Baden-Württemberg institutions on StudyPath (KIT, Stuttgart, Ulm, HTWG Konstanz, and others) is EUR 1,500 per semester -- left uncoded as a structured tuition fact here since RWU's own domain doesn't state a specific number.

Deutschlandstipendium at RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten
EUR 300 per month, paid independently of income. Half comes from private money the university must raise itself and half from public funds provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Eligibility: For talented, high-achieving students on RWU's bachelor's and master's programmes. Applications are made through the MobilityOnline portal; the 2026/27 winter-semester window ran 28 September to 16 October 2026.
RWU has taken part since the programme began and currently supports 21 students, with regional medium-sized companies and their foundations among the sponsors. Cited to the university's own news report, which is where RWU states the amount — its standing financing page describes the scheme and points to deutschlandstipendium.de but gives no figure. No numeric grade threshold is published, so none is recorded here.
