Deutschlandstipendium at Aalen University
EUR 300 per month for two semesters — EUR 150 from local supporters and EUR 150 from the federal government — with the possibility of continued funding until the end of the standard duration of the degree programme.
Eligibility: Open to all students and new students at Aalen University, and aimed at particularly high-performing and engaged students regardless of their own or their parents' financial situation. At the end of the funding period a performance review decides on continued funding: this requires assignment, credit and performance to be consistently good to very good and the standard duration of the degree programme to be adhered to.
Aalen has taken part since 2011 and announces the scholarship annually for the winter semester; the 2026 application window ran 27 July to 9 August 2026, online. 30 Aalen students currently hold one, funded by around 14 mostly regional companies and foundations. No numeric grade threshold is published, so none is recorded here.
