€3,600 per year
~€10,800 for the whole 3 years, at today's fee2025/26 · Same rate across the institution · Non-EU students
This is the 2025/26 figure as published by PoliTO. An earlier academic year than the one now running. Fees usually rise, so treat it as a floor and check the course page for the current rate.
This is the CEILING, not a flat price. Politecnico di Torino sets the yearly comprehensive fee for a non-EU student by scaling Tmax against the GDP at purchasing power parity of the student's country of citizenship (Art. 3), so what an individual actually pays depends on their passport. Annex 2 of the same regulations prints the resulting per-country amounts, which run from EUR 761.00 to EUR 3,761.00 (the Tmin/Tmax of EUR 600/EUR 3,600 plus EUR 161 of stamp duty and regional tax that does not pertain to the University and is billed as the first instalment). Figures relevant to this project's owner, read off Annex 2: PAKISTAN EUR 761.00 and ARABIA SAUDITA (Saudi Arabia) EUR 2,913.00 per year -- i.e. a Pakistani citizen sits at the minimum band. These are the A.Y. 2025/2026 Regulations (Rector's Decree 722/2025); Politecnico's tuition-fees page states that this set of Regulations is the one that applies in 2026/2027 to students first enrolled from 2025/2026 onwards, so a fresh Annex 2 may be re-issued for 2026/27 -- re-check before relying on the per-country figure.

Fee exemption is possible on income grounds as well: a student first enrolling in a.y. 2025/26 whose ISEE (the Italian means-test indicator, obtainable by non-residents as an "ISEE parificato") is at or below EUR 30,000 pays nothing beyond the EUR 161 of stamp duty and regional tax that does not pertain to the University. Article 3 of the same Regulations states that the country-scaled non-EU amounts do not apply to students who fall under those exemption cases, so an eligible non-EU applicant can land well below the Annex 2 figure for their country.

- CEFR B2 English language certificatePolitecnico does not publish a single test score here — it requires a certificate at CEFR level B2 or above and publishes a separate table of accepted certificates and their minimum scores (Polito Language Centre, "Table adopted on 23/09/2019 – updated on 22/12/2022"). The certificate must be uploaded to the Apply@polito platform before the enrolment deadline; failing to do so means permanent exclusion from enrolment.

Admissions tests
- TIL-I requiredTest in Laib – Ingegneria. A COMPETITIVE, CAPPED-PLACES entrance test, taken in person in Politecnico's computer labs in Torino or Mondovì: 42 questions in four sections — 16 Maths (36 min), 10 Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning (20 min), 10 Physics (22 min), 6 Basic Technical Knowledge (12 min). Available in English as well as Italian. Registration fee EUR 50.00, non-refundable. Admission is by ranking list against a guaranteed and a minimum threshold, and the score is valid only for entry in A.Y. 2026/2027. Non-EU applicants residing abroad compete for a separate, smaller quota of places (447 of 5,177 across the whole engineering area).
- SAT optionalThe one way round the TIL-I: Politecnico accepts a valid SAT score instead of the TIL-I (Art. 12), placing the applicant on the same ranking lists. It removes the need to travel to Italy to sit an Italian admission test, but it does NOT remove the competitive-ranking element — places are still capped.
