Heriot-Watt Dubai publishes this figure without stating which year it applies to, so it may already be out of date. Treat it as a starting point and check the course page for the current rate. Flag it below if you know it has changed.
Same rate for UAE and international students, inclusive of VAT. Charged on top: a non-refundable AED 300 application fee, a refundable AED 1,000 security deposit, and 10% of the first year’s fee on accepting the offer.

AED 82,264 per year (roughly USD 22,400), the same rate for UAE and international students, inclusive of VAT. Heriot-Watt University Dubai prints one tuition figure — AED 82,264 a year, the same for UAE and international students and inclusive of VAT — on every undergraduate programme page, but states no academic year or fee period anywhere near it. Because this project refuses to infer a fee period the university has not published, the figure is recorded here as verified cost context rather than as a structured, budget-comparable fee. Heriot-Watt itself warns that "the fee-level for each programme is reviewed annually" and that a student’s fee status, once registered, normally fixes what they pay for the whole degree. Charged on top: a non-refundable AED 300 application processing fee, a refundable AED 1,000 security deposit, and 10% of the first year’s fee payable on accepting the offer. Accommodation, transport and visa sponsorship are all excluded from tuition.

Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
30%, 40% or 50% of the net first-year tuition fee depending on the grade band achieved, calculated after deducting any other scholarships or discounts and distributed equally across annual instalments for the duration of study. Recipients must maintain a minimum overall grade of C each academic year to keep it.
Eligibility: Open to applicants across all undergraduate programmes at every Heriot-Watt Dubai school, banded by qualification and grade. Published bands include: A-Level BBB / ABB / AAB; UCAS Points 120 / 128 / 136; IB Diploma 28-32 / 33-36 / 37 and above; CBSE High School (12th) Marks 80-84.9% / 85-89.9% / 90% and above; American High School Diploma 85% / 90% / 95%; Tawjihiyya 85-89.9% / 90-94.9% / 95% and above; plus equivalent bands published for AS-Levels, Czech Maturita, FBISE, BTEC Extended Diploma, French Baccalaureate, Iranian, Chinese Senior National High School Certificate, and Turkey Lise Diplomasi.
HW Dubai publishes this as a full tiered table by qualification type; only a representative subset of the bands is summarised here — see the source page for every curriculum and its exact cut-offs. No single minimumALevelGrades or coveragePercentage is recorded because the award pays out at three different rates depending on which grade band is met, not one fixed bar and payout. The page's own eligibility paragraph also describes a 'Direct Entry Merit Scholarship' tied to second-year direct entry, in what reads like reused text from a related page — recorded as published without resolving that inconsistency.
